The Westbrook Council of Beach Associations will be holding their annual "Fill A Boat" food drive on July 12, 2025, at the Town Green, 9am to 1pm. Bring a non-perishable or drop off some cash to benefit the Shoreline Soup Kitchens or the food pantry at St. Mark Church.

Clinton Harbor Master

There will be a new mooring registration process within Clinton waters as the Harbor Management Commission has recently adopted approved mooring fields in certain, dedicated areas along the Clinton shoreline in Long Island Sound. You will see that anyone looking to install a private mooring for a boat must complete a mooring registration form and obtain approval through the Harbormasters office prior to installing the mooring. Westbrook transfer station

Please be advised contractors arriving at the Westbrook Transfer Station must be able to show they are working in the Town of Westbrook. We have had a great number of contractors state they are working for various beach associations. Please provide me (JRiggio@westbrookct.us) with the name of any contractor performing beach cleaning/landscaping work and give them a letter from the Beach Association to show to the attendant. Contractors arriving without this documentation will be denied access to the Transfer Station.

Beach Park Rd construction

As you may know, Beach Park Road will be closed for an extended period for road work. I understand the bridge over the marsh will be replaced. The main effect for the GBIA will be more traffic on the Causeway and around the Triangle, as this will be the only access point to Shore Road and Hammock Road.
